A creamy, mild barista almond drink, ideal for cappuccino and latte art and just as good with your morning cereal.
Prep time: 5 minutes (optional + soaking time)
Servings: about 3 servings (around 500 ml each)
Ingredients
1.3 litres water
about 60 g almonds
1/2 vanilla pod or a little vanilla sugar
1–2 dates (pitted)
1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Soak the almonds: for at least 1–2 hours, ideally overnight (8–10 hours) for extra creaminess.
Add the dates, vanilla and soaked almonds to the filter basket. Attach the basket to Milk it! and twist until secure.
Fill the container with 1.3 litres of water and add a pinch of salt.
Put on the lid and choose:
“Raw” for a cold almond drink
“Hot” for a warm almond drink
After blending, froth as desired and enjoy.
Storage & tips
Keeps in the fridge for 3–4 days.
