Getting started with the fermentation set

Step by step to safe fermentation - without daily venting.

Schnellstart

  1. 1Gemüse waschen & schneiden.
  2. 2Salz abwiegen: 2 % vom Gemüsegewicht (z.B. 20 g auf 1 kg).
  3. 3Einmassieren (Kraut) oder mit Lake bedecken (Karotten).
  4. 4Glas füllen, 2–3 cm Kopfraum lassen.
  5. 5Glasgewicht auflegen – alles muss unter der Lake bleiben.
  6. 6Silikondeckel mit Ventil aufsetzen, Schraubring leicht fixieren.
  7. 7Bei 18–22 °C fermentieren; danach kühl lagern.
Ventildeckel entlüftet & Glasgewichte halten alles unter Lake – kein Schimmel, purer Geschmack.
