Jar Compatibility Guide
Each EcoSeal Pro comes with perfectly fitting jars that are 100% compatible. While the device is primarily designed for these VacuJars, it often works with other preserving jars too – thanks to the included adapter.
Which jars are compatible with the EcoSeal Pro?
✅ 100% compatible: The jars included in the set ensure a smooth and reliable sealing experience.
✅ Other compatible jars: Many preserving jars work as well – as long as the EcoSeal Pro’s silicone lip can form an airtight seal on the rim:
- With the included adapter: Outer diameter of 6.5–7 cm
- Without adapter (device only): Outer diameter of 8.3–8.8 cm
⚠ Important: We can only guarantee 100% compatibility with our own VacuJars. For all other jars, we unfortunately can’t promise it’ll work – even if the diameter fits. Outer diameter is just one factor. The shape and finish of the jar rim also play a key role in achieving a proper vacuum seal.
How can you check if your jar is compatible?
The key is whether the EcoSeal Pro can form an airtight seal around the outer rim of your jar. If that’s the case, it’s compatible. Here’s a simple test:
- Close the jar with its lid.
- Place the EcoSeal Pro on top and switch it on.
- Lift the device slightly:
- 👉 If the jar sticks: It's compatible.
- ❌ If it drops immediately: It’s not sealing airtight.
What if your jar doesn’t fit?
If your jar isn’t compatible, you have three options:
- Use our specially designed VacuJars for guaranteed results.
- Try other jars. Many common jars around the house will likely work too – even if not all do.
