Where do our donations go?

We regularly evaluate which organisations work most effectively. Transparency matters to us – that's why we show you exactly where your contributions go.

2025: The Ocean Cleanup

The Ocean Cleanup awards this badge as confirmation of significant donations. It serves as proof that our contribution has been received by the organisation – independent and without partnership.

What does Independent Supporter mean?

Why The Ocean Cleanup?

Technology

The Ocean Cleanup develops autonomous systems that capture plastic where it causes the most harm. Their Interceptor boats in rivers prevent new plastic from even reaching the ocean – because 80% of ocean plastic comes from just 1,000 rivers worldwide.

Measurability

Every kilogram is documented, every action transparently communicated. The Ocean Cleanup regularly publishes progress reports and scientific studies. You know exactly where the money goes and what it achieves – no empty promises.

Goal 2040

The ambitious goal: remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040. A big promise – but the results so far show it's achievable. And it's exactly this combination of vision and measurable success that convinced us.

We are proud, independent supporters – driven by conviction. There is no official partnership with The Ocean Cleanup. The '1 € = 1 m²' calculation is our own estimate based on public data. More info ↓

The Seal

With this campaign, we protect the home of real seals – animals suffering from plastic pollution in our oceans.

Seal it! Saubere Meere Aktion

When we saw how much single-use plastic our vacuum jars save in the household, we realised: This is just the beginning. Because the problem doesn't end in the kitchen – millions of tonnes of plastic are already floating in our oceans. So we asked ourselves: What if we could not only avoid plastic, but also tackle the plastic that's already in the sea?

💙 We seal your food – and unseal the ocean from plastic.

Double impact: An EcoSeal Pro Starter Set doesn't just save hundreds of disposable bags at home – it now also clears ~60 m² of ocean from plastic. Good for your daily life, good for the oceans.

Join in – with every order!

Every purchase at Seal it! helps make our oceans cleaner. Innovative kitchen helpers for you – and a contribution to our planet. That's what we call a win-win! 🌍
