Sunflower Seed Drink

A nutty-creamy plant-based alternative to cow’s milk – mild in taste and super versatile.

Prep time: 5 minutes (optional + soaking time)
Servings: about 5–6

Ingredients

  • about 80–100 g sunflower seeds

  • 2 dates (pitted)

  • 1.3 liters water

Instructions

  1. (Optional, but recommended) Soak the sunflower seeds for at least 4 hours (ideally overnight). This makes the drink extra creamy and mild.

  2. Add the soaked sunflower seeds and the pitted dates to the filter basket.

  3. Fill the Milk it! with 1.3 liters of water up to the mark and put on the lid.

  4. Attach the mixing head and choose, depending on what you want:

    • “Raw” for a cold drink

    • “Hot” for a warm drink (slower, but pleasantly warm)

Storage & tips

  • Keeps in the fridge for 3–4 days.

  • With the EcoSeal Pro, you can keep it fresh for over a week by vacuum-sealing it directly in the jar in just 30 seconds.

  • Shake well before drinking, as it naturally separates.
